Probiotic Lawn Care

Fertilizers alone cannot provide all the nutrients and maintain soil microbial balance, similarly, no biological solution by itself maintain balance or provide nutrient without a nutirent source. It is also recognized that many chemicals and fertilizers commonly applied to manage turf conditions disrupt and destroy the natural microbial population in the soil. This being said, it is apparent that a good fertilization program shold include and sound bilogcial basis from which it will work. The soil is the "stomach" of the plants and shoudl contain the necessary biology to digest or "chelate" the minerals to make them available to the plant in a form that is easily utilized for growth. This microbial system can be referred to as "soil life". Living organisms that make all nutrients exchangeable to our plants. Therefore, if microbes are required to make nutrients available to plants, it stands to reason they should be the first consideration of an effective fertilization program. Soil microbes break down fertilizers in a highly systematic manner. No one bacterium or fungus accomplishes the task alone. Earth's Balance Microbes are targeted to do individual tasks and work synergistically together. To be effective, a microbial system has to be complementary to each other to accomplish desired results.
