The plate highlights 3.5" on the plate and 3.5" off the plate.  Provides a great visual for the pitchers to see the corners and just off the plate, while acting as a positioning tool for the catchers.  It keeps catchers centering their bodies over the two while points, which is the actual edge of a regular plate (17" white point to white point).  May also be used in hitting drills (two-strike hitting, expanding the zone).  Made of lightweight yet very durable ABS - weights just under 1.6 lbs.
